SHINE ON YOU!

For last 2 years, metallic & sequin effect on fashion goes on and became very popular between almost all designers. Not only evenings, you can use these pieces in you daily life, so I’ll give you some opinion about this trend! Balmain follow this trend for last 4 seasons, and you can find many things fits on you... Topshop has sequin shorts ans blazers also 2 seasons, and Ralph Lauren's collections faced with metallic effects....

Wear a metallic black legging and a neon top, combine them with your metallic or neon-platform heels with a clutch!

Take your sequin boyfriend blazer and wear a one-color jumpsuit under it with your nude sandals, wear a lined hair accessory with your nude make-up…

Sequin shorts are my favorite! Wear a flowered top and a sequin short with your flats for daytime, and change flats with flowered platforms for night.

Wear a metallic suit with no accessories and nude clutch & sandals!

Hey ladies, sure you’ve more alternatives….. Use your creativity, I wanna see it!

ERDEM

Canadian fashion designer (Turkish father and English mother) Erdem Moralioglu first showed his face at 2005 with his brand ERDEM. His biyography really impressed me that he succeed many things in a short time and now sells his brand in many countries; Austria, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Turkey, UK, USA, Canada, Russia, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia…. You can find the location addresses in his web site ( www.erdem.co.uk ) and also you can find his detailed biography and all collections.

About his sytle…. He likes to use qualified fabrics like an art tool with basic cuts. Floral pattern is his favorite I think, you can see floral details almost his all designs. Likes to use nude colors with flower pattern fabrics and his evening gowns are gorgeous! He shows us a woman can be stylish with basic cuts and natural look…

What do you think? A junior Lacroix?

FALL 2010 COLLECTIONS

After men’s gorgeous collections, others proved that blue and purple will be the most trendy colors of next Fall.

Alberta Ferretti used nude and pastel colors, Balmain shows its own style as usual with glamorous shiny dresses, BCBG fell under black&white’s spell with Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera used fantastic red for little sweet ladies, Chanel showed what is original!

Masculine females are again very trendy… and also lace, animal prints and 50s... Yves Saint Laurent inspired from sisters that I found very different, and of course, Vivien Westwood & Galliano were brilliant!

I put some of the collections that I like, but I really should say that men’s collections were more creative!! Yes, every designer did trendy things but I can’t find the creativity of menswear except a few ones… What do you think??
